Housing is a basic human right; but systemic discrimination in America has withheld safe, peaceful, private housing from people in marginalized populations for hundreds of years. PEER Homes aims to sustainably address housing inequality.
The Advisory Board for PEER Homes (a Washington Social Purpose Corporation) is comprised of both industry experts and community stakeholders representing historically marginalized groups; including LGBTQIA+, immigrants and refugees, women, youth, people of advanced age, people with disabilities, people experiencing mental illness, incarcerated and formerly-incarcerated people and their families, people experiencing unemployment and homelessness, Black, Indigenous, and people of color.
